About Us

Rev. Dr. Marcel Allen Lamb, Lead Pastor

Pastor Lamb truly believes that a relationship with the God of the Bible is true wealth and the path to a wonderful life. He has religion degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University, has studied Divinity at Bethel Theological Seminary, Grace Theological Seminary, and Asbury Theological Seminary. He holds a Doctorate in Ministry (DMIN) from Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his family love Imlay City and the people here and want Christ to fill everyone's life!

Sharon Muir, Administrative Assistant

Sharon serves as the administrative assistant and is usually in the office Mon-Thur 9 am to Noon.

Jackie Cronce, Custodian

Jackie oversees the cleaning and general care of the facilities as a care giver of God's house. She likes being creative as directed by God's grace. She also loves to make people smile.

Sally Cutler Worship Director

Sally Cutler has taught music for 16+ years in elementary school and been the pianist in church for over 40 years. She loves to sing, write skits and stories, and teach. One of her passions is the Old Testament, which she believes is essential for understanding the New Testament.

Rev. Gary Bird, Youth Pastor

Rev. Bird is a veteran youth pastor with around 20 years of experience in ministry. He is passionate about equipping youth to live vitally transformed lives in Christ. He is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, an ordained minister in the Wesleyan denomination, and is currently close to finishing a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Somehow the Imlay City United Methodist Church has intersected your life. Somehow, you find yourself on our webpage right now. Somehow you've decided to read this message. These apparent coincidences are more likely something arranged by the hand of God. God moves unseen in the fabric of our day to day lives and God opens windows and doors of opportunity and grace (good things from God).

Whatever the means, God is introducing this church to you. We would like to cooperate with God and team up with you so that you get from God the full life Jesus Christ wants you to have.

However you've come to discover us, you are important to God and therefore you are extremely important to us. We come together to learn more about God, to live more like Jesus would, to encourage one another, and to help and serve the people in the church, in the community, and in the world.
